Jeff W. Godwin, CPA

Jeff received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from San Diego State University in 1980. Jeff's work as a Certified Public Accountant includes tax, auditing, financial planning and accounting services. In 1984 he received his teaching credentials and began teaching accounting at the college level.

Mr. Godwin's experience in private industry spans more than 25 years. His roles in Senior Management as CFO and CEO include directing companies with more than 100 employees and revenues in excess of $30 million. Jeff has led these companies through start-up, survival, turnaround and growth modes.

While working as a Tax Analyst for Intuit, Jeff's expertise helped the programmers for Turbo Tax and QuickBooks and was routinely called upon for public speaking engagements for the self-employed entrepreneur and accountant.

He currently assists Tax Edge clients with complex financial statement analysis, projections, and budgetary concerns. His expertise helps clients through each phase of their business growth and development as well as helping to meet reporting requirements to outside parties through compliations, reviews, audits, and other attest work.

Tanya R. Baber, EA, CTRS, NTPI Fellow

Tanya has been an enrolled agent since 2006 and received her bachelor's degree in Public Accounting and Business Administration from Colorado Mesa University. Tanya practices as a public accountant in the area of personal, business, and non-profit tax preparation, planning, consulting and representation as well as solving their complex tax problems. She is also a CTRS - Certified Tax Resolution Specialist. She has been practicing in accounting and taxation since 1994.

Tanya is a member in good standing of the National Society of Accountants (NSA), The American Society of Tax Problem Solvers (ASTPS), The National Society of Tax Professionals (NSTP), and the National Association of Tax Professionals (NATP). She also serves on the board of directors for a variety of local and national non-profits, and volunteers with Search and Rescue to give back to her community.

Ms. Baber enjoys teaching advanced level classes to CPA's, Accountants, Comptrollers, and other individuals seeking continuing education. She consults with and enjoys helping these same accountants and individuals with their own difficult tax resolution cases.

She also did a 30 minute radio program throughout the fall and winter of 2015. She enjoyed speaking about taxes and making sense of its complexity for the average person.
